24H Live-In Care

A 24-hour Live-in Carer provides round-the-clock support and companionship to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities due to age, illness, or disability. Matter of Care live-in carers are trained to meet the specific needs of the person they are supporting.

Our Expertise

Our 24H live-in carers are well-prepared to provide the following services:


  • Assisting with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Helping with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure the individual’s comfort and safety.
  • Administering prescribed medications, monitoring for side effects, and ensuring adherence to medication schedules.
  • Coordinating with healthcare providers for prescription refills and medical consultations.
  • Planning, preparing, and serving meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. 
  • Assisting with feeding if necessary, and ensuring proper hydration.
  • Performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe and tidy living environment. 
  • Shopping for groceries and household items.
  • Providing emotional support, engaging in conversations, and participating in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being. 
  • Offering companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Observing and reporting any changes in the individual’s health or behaviour to healthcare professionals and family members. 
  • Monitoring vital signs and managing chronic conditions under the guidance of healthcare providers.
  • Assisting with transportation to medical appointments, social activities, and errands, and helping with mobility aids such as wheelchairs, walkers or walking-sticks.
  • Maintaining clear and accurate records of care activities and health observations.
